This song was written by ABAB at the age of 17, sitting in their father's Baptist church while he was preaching. It portrays how they felt about the masks that people wear to hide their inner shadows.

Acceptance of the shadow self is key to unification and balance within. Coming full circle ten years later to record this song has been important.
